We marked our 10-year milestone by starting a party – Podcast Party – representing the essence of what CliffCentral has stood for – creating a more independent media landscape that empowers individuals to engage critically with the world around them.

It’s almost a wrap for 2024. It’s sure has been a been a year of transformation!

South Africa celebrated 30 years of Democracy in this pivotal election year which saw the formation of the GNU….and CliffCentral celebrated a decade of groundbreaking conversations with a bold new chapter!

We marked our 10-year milestone by starting a party – Podcast Party – representing the essence of what CliffCentral has stood for – creating a more independent media landscape that empowers individuals to engage critically with the world around them. Flagship shows “The Burning Platform” and “Democracy Unplugged” played a major role in examining the complexities of governance, politics and social commentary in this crucial election year.

Gareth Cliff also launched The Real Network utilizing some of the CliffCentral online assets, and the new home and new look for his daily show, The Gareth Cliff Show.

And the final step was our iconic CliffCentral sign rebranded to proudly showcase Podcast Party.
